DONATIONS
can be made as a one-off payment or on a monthly direct-debit basis. Your money will be used primarily for feeding any horses rescued by S.E.A.R.C.H. and providing safe shelter and any medical treatment or holistic therapy that might be necessary. In addition, for horses that are fit for re-homing a period of natural re-schooling may be possible with your donations.
SPONSORSHIP
for our long-term residents would ensure a bright and safe future for these horses that have endured suffering and hardship during their lives. They have worked tirelessly with little or no reward and deserve a well-earned rest. You can sponsor a horse with a one-off donation or if you can guarantee a monthly donation for one of these horses, to pay for their food and any medical care, we will personally keep you informed of their progress. Gift Certificates can be provided if you want do this on behalf of someone else.
ADOPTION
of those horses that are now fit and well and have received some schooling with natural horsemanship, enabling them to be happy and healthy going forward into a loving new home. We are very careful about releasing a horse into the future care of any individual as this is a partnership we want to last for life! It is possible to re-home our Spanish horses in both Spain and the UK.
FOSTERING
is another option for horses that need a period of rehabilitation or are waiting for a new home. If you are not able to commit long-term but have the space and time to look after one of our residents for a short time, this is another way in which you can help.
FUNDRAISING
is more essential than ever with more and more horses being abandoned due to the current economic crisis. In Spain, the unemployment rate is now up to 33% and rising and the population simply cannot afford to take care of their animals and are abandoning hundreds on a daily basis, leaving them to die. If you can help to raise some much needed funds in any way possible please contact us. A coffee morning with your friends or a collection tin at school would mean so much.
LEGACY
donations – remembering a charity in your will can be a lasting reminder of any animal lover.
